"Thank you Carmen and also to your lovely family for such an interesting weekend. You ensured it was more than just learning Spanish. We also got to experience the culture, food and people of Mallorca, as well as enjoying the beautiful surroundings and sea views. For me it was a wonderful experience, shared with a lovely group of people. It was the perfect way to learn Spanish and I would recommend it to anyone currently learning Spanish!"- Christine

"I would like to thank Carmen for organising a fantastic Long Weekend in Mallorca.
Her house was in a beautiful peaceful neighbourhood outside Palma which allowed us to experience real Mallorcan life such as a late night visit to a tapas bar, shopping for supplies at a local supermarket and a visit to a small neighbourhood market where we could try local specialities.
Each morning we started with a lesson in her house often outside on the patio near the swimming pool with beautiful views of the sea. Then after an intensive morning of lessons we were ready to practice with the locals! Each afternoon Carmen planned a different adventure. Carmen, with an extended family and friends network, was able to organise unique outings that made you feel like family rather than a tourist. During our weekend we had a delicious Spanish lunch followed by a walking tour of Palma with family as well as a trip into the mountains….all in Spanish!
For me Carmen makes learning Spanish fun. She understands the individuals and their abilities and is able to set ‘tasks’ to challenge the individual.
I returned to the UK after my weekend in Mallorca tired from all the intensive language but also extremely excited by the experience I had, the friends I had made and the Spanish I had learned"- Jenny
